ever since i have had the car (89 L series) there has always been a little bit of oil in the bottom of the aircleamer conpartment. (underneath the air cleaner around where the seal is)
but today when i decided to have a look there seemed to be a bit more.
it probs just comes from the oil breather and i'm not really worried, but should i be?
car leaks oil all over ther place anyway. should probs get it fixed but meh...
oil in my air cleaner?

yeah its called blowby...comes from breather....my L series did it to...normally a sign of a head gasket on its way out...you can by inline filters to try and stop it tho....or just block the breather pipes off and place filters on the tappet covers like they do on V8s
