injector problem?

with my ej at the moment iits not running right and when it warms up it wont run like its starving for fuel. even when its cool it wont run at high revs. iv been told to get the injectors cleaned i put some of that injector cleaning stuff through but still docnt run right it made it a little better.
is there a way to clean the injectors or is it a send it awy thing
