Gents/ladies,
Went 4wd up in Weipa out to a place called the 'bean' hole, lovely fresh water swimming hole that only flows in the wet season.
Serious water crossings with the bonnet going under two times and regular inundation periods after that.
Prior to going driving the car has been running well, no issues at all.
After the dunkings she will not idle.
I've opened up the disty and there was some moisture in there (got rid of that) took out the air filter and dried it in the oven and replaced but she still won't idle.
Am I right in thinking that I've somehow blocked the slow idle jet in the carb? If so is there a way to clean it in place or do I have to remove it?
Or is it something else all together?
Any help would be appreciated as home mechanics is definitely the way up here.
ps. Went fishing sunday and caught a 92cm giant trevally. had to chase it in the boat.
poor my won't idle
