rebuilding gearbox mounts

has anyone tried rebuilding gearbox mounts using conveyor belt rubber if so what contact glue should i use.

just buy new ones as it will not hold .
If u are breaking then chain it down and it will stop them from breaking .

Honestly mate, Ive gone thru this before in a FWD car that keeps breaking, and mate its not worth it, depends how hard you drive your engine they'll tear. Get new ones and newish ones would be way better.

It might be me but just luckily but mine have lasted for ages with Kwik grip i think....

I did mine just before a rego inspection - on auto GLTA box mounts, using an M6 bolt straight through the plates and rubber block, finished off in matte black paint. Did the trick giving a slightly more solid audible rumble but box went nowhwere and was not a concern for the inspector. On convert to manual I found one bolt broken without feeling or hear the result.
