Gen 1 Liberty. Cruise Control Problem

Hey all
a while ago I had to have my clutch and gearbox replaced.
And yesterday i went to activate my cruise control and it was not working.
The clutch pedal is sitting a lot closer to the floor in comparison to the other pedals.
I can provide pictrures if you like, but is the problem just because there is a sensor near the clutch pedal that is not being activated due to the repositioning of the clutch?
Or is it a fuse problem? I also only noticed yesterday that my drivinglights and brake lights in the taillights arent working, but the brake light up the top of the rear window is. Are these all hooked up to the same fuze, ie driving lights, brake lights and cruise control, or just the driving and brake lights. OR is it a possible wiring problem causing all of these things to not be working
Any help would be excellent.
Thankyou
