Hey there, I have a subaru outback 2000 and the whole climate control unit is not working, including display and heating or cooling, checked fuses, just wondering what else it could be?? If it's a loose wire, where would we look? and how would we get into it? :) Cheers

The mode control panel has two (i think) plugs at the back, which could possibly have come loose. If it's not that, then it'd be something more serious. i'd start with that at least. And while the panel is out i'd check for voltage between A1 and ground, and A2 and ground (black connector, apparently.) If i'm reading the diagram properly haha

Somewhere on the forum here is a link to the manual i'm using that i put online a while ago. I'll see if i can find it haha.

Here we go: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O88I6KSX

I knew I uploaded it somewhere. Should have put it up as a torrent or something, but it didn't even occur to me.

It shouldn't matter, but just keep in mind this manual is from a few years ago, and of course doesn't get any updates from subaru or anything. But it should still be good. :)
