Brumby exhaust steam up

Post by Brrrummmbeee » Thu Aug 19, 2010 8:00 pm

The little EA81 is pumping gaseous coolant out the exhaust. No oil in coolant or vice versa. Before I tear a head off any ideas on what else to look out for? She's running on 3 & 1/2 cylinders, LHS bank methinks is down.

Inlet manifold gaskets :)

head gasket, try putting 'metalic seal up' into the radiator. hopefully this will stop it, until next time you overheat it, that is

I'll try the inlet manifold gaskets, and failing that maybe add sealant..
Thanks,
