g-day...need to replace my brothers fuel pump in his 1994 liberty wagon....
to get to the pump ive taken access panel off from just behinnd the rear seats where i can see the top of tank and 3 lines going in and one electrical plug...
to remove the fuel pump there is 8 nuts to undo and it should lift out yeh?
once out to replace the fuel pump itself can anyone give me some tips and/or photos of this procedure...
also apparently there are 2 types of fuel pumps... a 30mm and 50mm
I got quoted $180 for a 50mm fuel pump from repco does this sound right?
the car is awd so it has 2 fuel pumps? one slave one main right?
any help would be greatly appreciated....
cheers

The main fuel pump is on the drivers side's tank, I am not sure as Ive never pulled out the passengers side.
Price - unknown as never bought new one, Ive just pinched one from wreckers..
that 50mm thick sound about right but not 110% sure.
Cheers

They are pretty much all the same from 92 - 00 Impreza and 89 - 98 Legacy, Liberty so just go to the wreckers & grab one or get a walbro 342 from Ebay, you've done all the hard work, just undo the 8mm bolts & the whole unit will pop out, make sure the sock at the bottom is at the same angle as the new pump, if it's no swap them over or he'll get fuel surge on r/h corners, pretty much idiot proof provided everything goes back the same way it came out.
