Hey guys,

So, on the EA82 in my L wagon, there appears to be a hole slightly smaller than my pinky finger on the front of the timing belt casing to the right of the oil pump. I assume it's been there a while because it looks like there was a patch up job on another area of the cover, but im not sure what they've used there. Being that I'm a broke uni student, is there a relatively cheap and easy way of patching it up?

I would appreciate any help :)

Thanks,

Bret

Why bother? It probably wont hurt anything, unless you are planning to go through lots of water...........

Squirt a little silastic to cover it , keeps dust and dirt out and the belt will be happier
