Which sump gasket?

Post by H-top » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:21 pm

G'day,

I need a new sump gasket on the libbo and am not sure
if they are different over the years?

The block is from a 98ish forester GT.

is it genuine only?

Cheers,
S

Maybe turbos are different, but I've never seen a sump gasket on an EJ. All mine have been gooed (and taken off and regooed without trouble).

I was thinking the same. Had the sump off an RS EJ20 and there was no gasket, only goo...

can help without vin sometimes :-) - vin just filters out bad parts - which can be numerous ;-)
