Hey all
I have an impreza 03 rx 2.5 and i need help!
everytime the car is warm and the wheel is locked to the right, it makes a clicking/knocking sound. immediately i thought cv shafts, so two brand new front shafts were put in and front/rear diff oil changed.
was going good for a day or too until it started doing it again but it sounds as if its coming from the back now. could it be the rear diff? it doesnt do it when its cold, only when its warm and been used.
help!

It could now be your rear shafts that you can hear since eliminating the front shaft's clicking noise. Mine will usually click when cold, once warm will travel ok until you boot it off the line, then you'll know about them!
