Hi, Is it a common problem that the Brumby exhaust manifold studs vibrate loose and fall out over time? If so is there a fix for this other than locktite solutions? Thanks Spin

Hi there. Had the same issue. The treads were worn.
Fixed it by recoiling the threads and new studs with strong loctite.

the other way is go to a bigger size stud but even then the stud can vibrate out unless loctite or some other form of holding agent is applied.

silicone is also good to stop them vibrating loose if you have good threads. Think M8 1.25 is standard thread, same as Toyota studs I tell exhaust place when sourcing more studs @3 bucks each

Yep quiet common if not done up correctly. It's always good to loctite the studs in, as long as the thread in the block is good or you're going to need to either helicoil a new thread or use a larger stud. I have in the past used a stud that is M10 one end and M12 at the other (thus eliminating the need for a helicoil kit)
