heater not getting hot..?
heater not getting hot..?
i have a gen 1 liberty and the heater doesnt get overly warm and doesn't blow as hard compared to the cold equivalent.. which for someone who's up early going to the beach and finishes work well after 12 a nice warm heater would be desire-able, hoping there is something other then the heatercore which could be causing it as past experiences with dashes makes me think lighting a small fire on the passenger seat would be a good alternative.. can anyone think of something to try and fix it

Rip the hoses off and blow the garden hose or compressed air through it, if the water comes out as fast as it goes in it's ok, start slowly because being blocked is about the only thing it could be as there is no tap, then again the wire to the flap which lets the hot air out may have come off or stretched, wiggle the lever while you have your hand under the dash to find the wire & see if it's working & opening fully, may need to take console or din/radio out as it'll be above them.
