I can read the codes out of the ABS system in my car but how can you manually reset them. I cannot do it with a scan tool (I own one and it will not access the ABS system) as the ABS system is a stand alone system and not on engine diagnostics plug.

Gauges out = 10min

Globe out = 2sec

Gauges back in = Priceless

I've just got used to mine being on all the time as I'm usually too lazy to put the relay back in after going off road, have you checked all the wiring to the wheels etc or do you know there is nothing wrong with it? I would have thought provided everything is working the light would go out.

whilst I see the idea behind it I spent a LOT of time/money to get this into an L series wagon and working properly. without it my silly rates of gaining speed would be lethal on brakes and sudden stops. as it is now from 60kmh it will pop your eyeballs out if you slam hard on the brakes (and the wheels do not lock up.)

for me to pull a light out I have to pull a cluster and a sub cluster to do it. light stays as the system works fine. it started firing the pump when I put the car into reverse or drive so I wanted to know why and how to get the thing into diagnostic mode.

so for those that need it :)

should help if you ever have the probelm. turns out I have a dead wheel sensor on the front left. (code 23) I will have to get the meter out and verify that the sensor is indeed dead or I have a wire/plug issue somewhere in the car.

Was thinking it was on a Gen 2 soz, I hope you aren't intending to use it off road, it would at least double the stopping distance of mine in sand ............. bloody horrific.
