Just pulled out of a customers driveway this arvo and she died, nin, nin, nin, nin, pherlumph. She spins over strongly just won't bloody fire. Half full on fuel, gave no hint what-so-ever just dead. Checked all me fuses and FL's, gas relays click in. Found my new spare coil onboard, a shifter and swapped the coil , still nought. Bludged a ride home , picked up the Vortex and a few test tools and my lucky charm - a spare dizzy I think came out of a FWD auto L Series but looks like EA81 ?? Grabbed its module (realising I did not need to remove shaft bung plug or the screw underneath like I've told others in here (that's for playing with advance limits) No spark on the plug tester (time to order more from the US - one for each car) swapped modules in no time flat and whoopie she bangs!! This is just weeks after I set about to put spare module and necessary tools in a box under the seat - got side tracked. Module had about 385,000km on it.

Got Vort home and ended up with a 40 minute ride on the pushy to get back to little steed

* pherlumph was a phunny fanonanom , just as ignition switched off the engine sort of either spun backwards or tried to fire on a last breath sort of thing - more like a run on..... but just one

Good to hear you were able to get it sorted, and gained some exercise while you were at it.

inbetween inbetween

just reminded me to go shopping in America.

Had to be the diagnosis after the many times myself and others had to scream out for same set of symptoms in here
