imprezza fuel line

Hi, my 2004 imprezza 2 litre fuel pump is howling its head off, and ive had a look at where its located to renew it. The outlet (pressure hose) from the pump has an unusual looking fitting on it with 2 brown spring loaded plastic tabs (1 on each side) Is it simply a matter of squeezing these tabs to unclip the line, or is a special tool required.

Yes I know i have to de-pressurise it first. I have a selection of various size quick disconnect tools but this fitting is new to me. Thanks and apologize for double posting, the 1st was in the wrong spot

Well you should edit the question out of the "wrong spot" then you won't get answers in the "wrong spot" like another member has already done.

Nothing worse than giving answers twice in two different threads to the same question.

I found this picture in a manual on the net. Once you know how it works its easy. The brown coloured tabs I referred to are meant to be replaced each time they're undone. Once the fuel pressure is depressurised you squeeze the 2 brown tabs and the fuel line slides off the pipe leaving the two tabs (called appropriately in the manual "a retainer") still clipped to the fuel pipe. Very clever.
