See avatar for vehicle details "Claudia), but basically EA81 Turbo, mostly standard except RS liberty WIAC. It is lacking power and miss firing through the rev range. If you boot it, it miss just off at idle and sometime stalls, also when it comes back to idle it will stall most of the time, unless you release it slowly. I am very open to suggestions? And it anyone has a full copy of the Service manual in english for this i would appreciate.

First thing I would do is pull the injectors out and have them serviced and flow tested, will cost about $100, then replace all spark plugs and leads.
From there, clean the air flow meter and check the distributor points (the 4 studs under the cap) for erosion
Also wouldnt hurt to install a fuel pressure gauge, this will tell you that both the pump and the regulator are supplying the correct pressure

On going problem i am getting back onto steptoe.
Replaced the Leads and Plugs already, Cleaned and Replaced Air Flow Meter. The Dizzy plugs you are refering to i have already replaced.
As for the fuel gauge i will look at that later tonight, i have a gauge that should do the trick.

Matt, I am thinking if EA82T 3 plugger is much the same as EA81T - you run a flapper type AFM ? Guess if you have replaced it - was with a known good one ?
My experience with fuel pump crapping out - would idle OK and rev up OK on the spot but drive it, would bog out as soon as boost came on. The fuel pressure gauge is best T'd into the line not just whacked on the end of the line, so you can run it while driving. My pump did the necessary 36 psi that dropped to 10psi as soon as boost came on. You've got missing though eh .....
FPR return fuel lne crimping is another diagnostic trick to see if anything different happens.
Running 3 plug factory ECU ?

I had issues with my EA82T and it was because the injectors were pissing a stream, not a spray. I cleaned them and it fixed the problem

I think it order, 3 Pin ECU, yes Flapper style air, No Fault codes showing Jeff.
And i have a nice little Walbro 450 i think it is that i might drop in tonight and see what happens lol.
Also Steptoe that is very close to my symptoms....

My symptoms were on serviced injectors by the way. Mate recently did a Magna that drove well on LP ans basketcase on petrol and only "just happened". The fuel filter was chockers with rusty crud, the intank fuel pump filter mesh was caked, fuel was pretty colour. After a tank clean, new fuel pump, external filter was a lot beter, but still a cow. Got the injectors serviced - purred like a kitten and growled like it could. Owner, despite the cost was happy, reckoned it had never run the way it did after all the new stuff and clean injectors ! Moral in that story somewhere

Just put in a nice little 460lph Walbro in it, and it is better still not perfect so i think it must be injectors as well. Atleast now it is driveable been to long without boost :P

Finally got to drive her a bit today and still has a miss where she doesn't want to go, just off idle to 2500 or so? Injector cleaning?
