CV - Boots
Guys, thoughts appreciated. I found that both front CV boots have been torn open, no idea why and given they are about 12 months old I'm somewhat perplexed as to what has caused this. Before I tear them down to replace the rubber boots, what should I be looking for with the CVs?

If it's the Brumby like in your avatar, make sure you get the right inner boots or inner boot, for the drivers side. The correct one has a smaller rib in it to clear the steering shaft. I've had CV boots that didn't have this smaller rib, it rubbed on the steering shaft and split in about 2 weeks!

Will it ever end!?

Hey Ray, another thing to check is the quality of the rubber, some of the cheaper ones have a lot more plastic in them and they aren't as flexible as some others. I found a place over here in WA that has the best ones I've used other than genuine ones.
