Trolley jack-Vortex

Post by Vortex75 » Mon Feb 09, 2015 9:54 am

Hey guys, is there a good spot under my Vortex to use a trolley jack so I can put stands under it to drop the exhaust?

Just use the Jack as you normally would and put the stands on, just make sure the car is on a complete flat surface and make sure you have a good set of stands.

Lately when I raise my car to work under it (I've taken my fuel pump out and about to put the new one in) I have been using the rails and using the stands. Don't forget to make sure the safety clips are in the stands before you go under the car as well.

let us know how you go :)

Regards
Johnny T

That's not harsh, I was just pointing out its a well used method by experienced Subie owners and is ok to do.
You should always get a second opinion on what you read on the net.
