first thing to do would be to get a big massive battery...i had massive issues with headlights and interior gagetry beating with the music(very very noticable), i got a bosch gold 13plate(i think), and it has helped heaps

my alternator is only 60amps i think, and it can barely charge the battery( i think its running at about 12.8v. But finding higher amperage alternators can be very difficult and expensive for the older suby's.

If your running a sterio i would recomend a optima yellow top, but they are around 300 bucks, but they are designed for thes sort of aplication,

i have noticed a few threads on this subject lately, matt mentioned in another thread that the early patrol alts fit but youd have to pm him for details. i have also read that some maxima alts fit, again not sure exactly which models, there is also the GM alt swap which is/was popular on the usmb but it requires some slight modification, more info for this swap can be found at www.ultimatesubaru.org

all of these alts are around 100amp i believe.

few self-respecting ricers would spend the time to modify a Daewoo.
