Yep it fits
You will need to use the 'L' series tie-rod ends & bend the pipes on the rack or they will foul on the engine crossmember. & there is VERY little adjustment (Toe in/out) as the liberty is a wider car.

you could also mod the rack ends to get more toe in/ out if ya needed it

Yea i belive that to do it into a brumby i have to use the liberty rack ends and cut the thread off and then re thread the remaining rack end then grind a little bit out of the crossmember to fit the power head and other than that it just bolts in.
i guess it would be similar to the L series

From what I understand, what makes it easy with the L series is that the fittings for the hoses will screw striaght out of the L rack and into the Lib rack.
The MY hoses have a different thread on the end, but if you're going EJ you will need custom hoses anyway and it's not such a big deal.
I think someone said the fittings on the lib rack might conflict with a crossmember or something on an MY but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
Another way around it would be to do what subarursliberty has done
here and "cut and shut" a crossmember to suit, but if you're not a VERY experienced welder pay someone else to do it.

When we do them we mod the rack ends (not tie-rod ends) by tapping a thread a further 35mm along them. You need a 14mm die nut to do this and it costs around $30. You also need to open up the hole in the cross member to suit the Liberty/Impreza power steering. Yes the L power steer lines will fit straight in to the later model rack.
