hey all
just wondering if people know if a mechanic (transmission joint) can fix a noisy gearbox? thrust bearing / clutch been replaced but you can hear the gearbox inside the car which i was advised by the 2nd previous owner... dont care if the gearbox could be on its way but just want the noise to stop.. anyone know if a mechanic is able to do it? without actually buying another gearbox which is hard to get?? cause i need a front wheel drive gearbox as my '92 liberty is front wheel drive

Thrust Bearing is at the front of the gearbox, you need to remove the gearbox to access.. - Do that at the same time with clutch job.
Gearbox can be noisy due age & kms... Change the oil and see if it does make difference. Mine is noisy with normal oil, but with redline oil, and I would strongly recommend Redline shockproof and its money worth, got 5 litres for $120.
Cheers
