Front driveshaft swapability- Lib to Foz

Post by Gannon » Wed Oct 03, 2012 5:42 pm

Just a quick question.... will the front driveshafts from a BG Liberty (1996 Gen2) auto fit in a SG Forester (2003 2nd Gen) manual?

It will only be short term till I fix the Foz shafts up propperly

Im pretty sure the spline count is the same, but are the lengths different?

I was running a Gen2 lib front shaft in my SF foz for sometime. Worked fine apart from his not having something on the end for the ABS. Other than that it wasn't an issue :D

This Lib (Outback actually) had ABS so all should be sweet
