Yep I found the electronic coil, lucky I didn't throw it out, just threw it on top of my pile of misc car parts hehe.
Just took it for a drive and it's flawless, found some hills, got it hot and revved it hard in 3rd gear and not a hint of misfire or power loss. Thank god that little problem is in the past (touch wood) Just the leaks to fix now.

I've forgotten - is this the twin carb EA81S or just a stock EA81?

If it's your freshly rebuilt EA81S make sure you run it in properly!! It will pay dividends if you do it properly ;)

If not, then flog away!

You are getting forgetful bennie, it's the donk from Silverbullet, not the twin carb freshie :(

Thanks mate, it's been a very full on three weeks - and it's not going to let up :( Just finished a 3 day surf life saving course today - I'm stuffed and should be sleeping.

Silverbullet, I apologise for the confusion. Get yourself an EA81S and I'll be sweet ;) :p
