Anything can be done - it just depends on how deep your pockets are!
With that said you'll need to find a stand alone engine management system that can operate the DPF system that will need to be moved over with the conversion as it's part of the emissions gear with that engine.
I believe it should bolt in, but that said, being a new generation of engine there could be changes in the bolting configuration of the bellhousing and possibly the pattern on the back of the crank.
Being that you're a P plater are you sure you're allowed to be driving a conversion around that involves a turbo, diesel or not?
Cheers

It'd cost a min of $10k. Not worth it into an RS in my opinion.
Wait till your off your P-Plates then get a WRX. A WRX won't get better fuel economy than your non turbo impreza... I've been off my P plates for almost a year but I wouldn't have anything more powerful than my 2.5l foz as I don't trust myself.
Put me behind my friends JDM STI converted outback and I find myself going sideways through corners and going into the mid 3 digits on the speedo in the back streets.
How much longer do you have till your off your P's?
Obviously your over east as here in WA you can have any amount of power/cylinders or what ever on your P plates..
It's upto you but it all comes down to $$$ as El_Freddo said. A general turbo swap(Subaru) costs between $5-10k if you do some of the work yourself.

A while ago an EE20 was fore sale on Ebay for 7000 dollars without engine management a stand alone computer would cost around 1-2000 dollars on its own.
