Upgrades for EA82T

Post by Vortex75 » Sun Mar 16, 2014 1:23 pm

Hi all, what kind of upgrades can I do to my EA82T? As far as I know it's stock apart from a Turbosmart adjustable boost valve. It goes well, revs hard but I'm always keen for a bit more. Haven't mucked around with the boost valve too much, I'd like to get a boost gauge first. My car is a Vortex XT auto

Before raising boost, a 2.5" exhaust with hi flowing mufflers from the turbo back and an intercooler are a good start

I'm keen on the intercooler, is there a thread I can read about that? Thanks for your help

intercooling or autospeed.com water injection ?
PWR intercoolers look interesting too. LHD look to be better for TMIC, as we have brake master in the way. If you can weld alloy like nncoolg can you might be able to prod him for some pics of his cut'n'shut intercooler he made fit and miss bits
