GF6 Hatch

Post by flat_four » Sun Apr 20, 2014 9:45 pm

Hi guys,
I just purchased a 1996 Impreza hatch, it has 4eat gearbox that has torque binding my question is are Duty C solenoids readily available from a Subaru dealer and roughly what do they cost?

My car also has leather/vinyl seats that are starting to look a little worse for wear, if I were to replace my interior how hard would it be to find another leather/ vinyl set? Or should I just save and do the typical WRX swap?

Any answers would be great.

Thanks,
Wade.

it would probably be cheaper to buy either a reconditioned box or a second hand working box from a wrecker.

Seats and interior from a wrecker as well or buy a wreck from gumtree.

+1 for what TOONGA said. Check out the wreckers or Gumtree

Put a new solenoid in and it fixed the problem $180
