2005 GDB WRX gearbox to 1999 GC8 WRX

Just wanted to try and get as much info as I can on this topic as I will be attempting this on the w/e or next week some time, and I would like to be 100% on some of these things..

2005 GDB WRX gearbox to 1999 GC8 WRX (AUS SPEC)

Facts I want to get straight

- GDB runs larger front shafts and the gearbox splines are different? Therefore running the GDB shafts in a GC8 is a must?

- GDB front ‘larger’ shafts will fit the front hubs on a GC8?

- GDB run the same ratio as a GC8? 3.9? meaning rear diff need not be changed

- GC8 Tail shaft will suit GDB gearbox?

- Flywheel and Clutch need not be changed?
