Yep thats exactly what I did, except 4.111 instead of 3.9

just to bring this up again as ive been reading the previous threads about welding and lsd diffs.
to keep an eye out what kind of datsuns are stealing the RX's LSD's? coz if u track one of those down with an lsd well then....
also anyone know of someone who has welded a diff before and done a good job? where/who? im gonna get mine done v soon.

I was told this was over the top, but at least it won't break at the welds, prolly just tear a stub off when it does break. My brother welded this one with his CIG welder. I welded another but wasn't quite as good looking. Pretty easy really.
mainly the datsun 1600 (510) owners go for them. Because they use the same R160. I have seen someone put one in a 240z, but most say R160's are too weak for 240z's because they come stock with a R180..
