Hey all just expressing anyone’s interest in some Nolathane Bushed Diff Mounts, as pictured below





This is currently an expression of interest as there is a fair amount of customisation involved We will have to work on an exchange basis as they are press fit bush’s, for any West Coasters the mount is in action in BrennyV's Leone 4x4

the locker and ej22 just kept killing stock ones

I also forgot these are L series mounts

Anyone willing to share if they are all the same eg...L series/MY Series etc etc

Expect to twist your diff hanger!!!!

Been there done that with this setup I had a proto type just like that 2 1/2 years ago. Every vehicle I put them in to it destroyed the diff hanger. - twisted it like it was made of paper.

I am 12 -15 weeks away from a proper replacement not unlike the OE setup.....

I already have a double thickness diff hanger... having the factory mount with an LSD combined with some hardcore offroading meant i was twisting them weekly. Since vidler welded 2 together for me i have not had a problem.

Lseries hangers seem to have a little extra bit at the top for (some slight) extra strength.

gettin 2 welded together would be the best option as they are already the right shape.

while mine has like 10mm steel welded onto it there is still weak spots where it doesnt follow the right contour and go the whole way along the bar.

But it hasnt bent again yet.
(where it bent almost instantly after the Welded got put in)

I have one similiar in my ute and it seems to be fine. I have an LSD also and no signs of bending anything.

Yep Ellie decided to lunch that bush and its AWD and LSD L/RX Turbo .
I was at the wrecker with Coxy the other day but no Ls and only one FrWD Vortex .

Can someone in the know please tell me if L and MY rear diff mount brackets are the same dimensionally because they did have an MY wagon there .

I was hoping to get an intact L Series wagon diff mount and bush because I would have done the "Nissan Works Bush trick" . The go is to clean the existing rubber bush up and fill in around its air gaps with Stikaflex compound . This goes off after a couple of days and sets to a consistency remarkably close to Nissan Works Stanza rear rubber suspension link bushes .
Given a choice I'd always have a stiffer than std rubber bush over urethane because it still has a limited amount of flex and dampening where urethane does not .

Anyway I need a not too stuffed L bracket and bush or an MY one if they interchange .

I should also ask if the bushes interchange and if the MY one is better ie less air gaps around the rubber material .

Lol if ya find me that bracket Ill tell ya where that 85 MPFI Vortex is and how its screens and doors are good and even the wierdy door handle flaps even work . Has all the ribbed belt pulleys cept the alternator cause I got that .

I just recently had a diff hanger and cross member bushes filled with urethane for $50. Even had a choice of colour. The original rubber bushes were left in situ and just filled with urethane to I thinks its 80 grade hardness. much more cost effective than completely re-bushing with superpro or nolethane products. I will take a pic and post it in the next 48hours for those who are interested.

This was done as the original bushes at 280000Ks + were starting to sag and deteriorate. I have spare diff hangers and crossmembers in the meantime..
The bloke that did this for me said that if its to stiff to drill a series of 3mm holes acoordingly until the desired compliance is achieved. He has done many hilux and patrol etc bushes in the past.

These will go in the wagon in a few weeks along with some other improvements.

As per Pm i'm very interested and would like to know if i can get it done here in WA?
