Swaping engine mounts

What is the easiest way to change an engine mount on an EJ without removing the engine?

Unbolt both mounts from the crossmember, lift of jack up the motor enough for them to clear before unbolting the broken one from the block. Reverse to replace. You will have a small amount of movement ,more if you undo the rear engine support rod.
