I believe the hard part is getting the EA81T engine loom and computer .
Being from MY series cars it should be a straightfoward install - provided you have everything thats unique to the 81T system .

X-member will be the tough part to source...

Fitting EA-81T is straightforward but pricey, the X-member you can make by modifying a standard type and Ecu and looms are better off being an aftermarket type of which there are many types.
Your biggest obsticle will be finding an 81T, and of course the Legal requirements to modify a standard car to a turbo.
Good luck, it's quite straight forward otherwise but do remember to do all the "other" things you need to do, brakes, suspension, etc.

Why not go the EJ22 conversion? It would be a much better upgrade. I guess the EA82 would be the easiest drop in option, the EA81 in my mind is a bomb proof alternative over the '82...

On another note, has anyone got a pick of the injectors on an EA81T? I thought these were carbie fed til reciently... Would really like to see where the injectors fit in the head.

Good luck with it morey!

Cheers

Injectors are usually in the I.M. Elfreddo.

either that or they would have a single on in the T.B.

thats my guess but i thought i saw a pic ages ago of them in the inlet manifold
