hay guys could u please help me with a wee problem ....?
the mrs hasa ej20T 1990 legacy (liberty) wagon i did the water pump onit and pt it bk 2gether and now the auto dusnt seem to select gears, like theres no wee thunk wen selectd, and only moves slightly in any gear, and the mrs...pist at me :p
any ideas

I'd be firstly checking the oil, it may be a coinscidence that the oil level is low and the gearbox decides to play up after you've "toyed" with the motor. Otherwise I'd be checking all the vacuum lines to make sure nothing was knocked off during the pump install.

Also make sure your cam belt timing in correct, this may upset the auto.

oo thanx man, i put a tiny bit of auto fluid in it and it worked better, so think i'll get a auto filter and change oil. um dnt spose u have a link to a pic of cambelt timing? bit confused with the pattern behind the crankcog?, :???:
