Similar question as the other post for the dr 4wd box.
On the 3 spd auto box, there are 3 sets of cables for the gearbox. One of them is the kickdown solenoid, and I'm guessing one is the 4wd solenoid (but I think this comes down from the gear lever). But what is the 3rd one. Hard to follow everything as it's on the car. The cables are as follows:
cable colour | connector colour | cable colour
blue + red | brown |Blue covering <---this is the kickdown
black
blue + yellow | yellow | white braided cover <--- unsure
black
red+blue | white | Black covering <--- Unsure
green+white
The wiring diagrams weren't much help. The blue covering is for the kickdown solenoid but unsure what the other two are for.
How is the reverse light wired up.
Also, the auto box has a neat thing that with wipers on, you have a quasi AWD system. Any ideas on where this is wired on the box. Need the collective wisdom from this forum.
Thanks for the help with the previous post. You can see where I'm going with my questioning.
Cheers,
Richard

reverse light switch
Thanks for that.
OK, so that's the 3 wires answered. I wanted to be able to get the wheels appearing on the dash for when I'm in 4wd, so now I can wire it up correctly.
Am I right in saying that if I want the reverse lights to come on, I need to wire this from the shifter wiring to the wiring on the d/r box for the reverse lamp switch. I may as well wire up reverse when I'm doing the swap otherwise I may have trouble with rego.
Thanks heaps for the advice.
