L Wagon short shift kit?

hey guys, is it possible to get a short shifter on an L? or is it something that has to be custom made?

I highly doubt there was a short shifter manufactured for L series. Maybe for RX turbo which should bolt in but even if there was this would be incredibly rare these days. It would be easy to just pay a welding guy like 20 bucks to do it for you and modify your existing linkages.

You only need to move the pivot point up about 15-20mm to make a short shift in the L.

I had one in my first RX that I made, needs to 'adjust' the forward section of the shifter hole in the trans tunnel, and bend the shifter rod backwards a bit but worked sweet. About 50mm movement to change gears...

If you can't do it yourself find a shifter and post it to me and I'll do it for $20.

I'm not impressed with the throw on my rx, stiff also. More info on this would be great. I dont have an accurate illustration for my linkage..still confused.
