Hi

does anyone know a good price for a 2004 Liberty GT turbo short engine. There bearing have gone on it and it needs to be changed.

There is a fellow on Fleabay selling a 2000 GT engine/box/loom/ecu for just over $3k

try a search on it - seems to be a lot of "wrecked" GT's popping up now.

I would, but I was told it was goiong to cost around the same as a new engine.

yes maybe it would but at least you know its new and if a machenic does the build you have a warranty too

If you rebuild yours you know the engine from top to bottom/old to new/history..

i'm reboulding mu 2.5 na, it doesn't cost that much in parts, and as they say, a reco'd engine is better than a 2nd hand one, you never know when that'll die
