EJ22 Headers or Extractors

Post by Kieren » Mon Feb 16, 2009 7:56 pm

does anyone know of someone who makes them or where i could get some from?

if not, what sort of other options are there for the whole extraction system?

This is a very rare mod. I think because the benefits are virtually nil. Everyone just uses the stock headers which are pretty much like extractors anyway. What is your reason behind the inquiry?

If you're trying to gain more power on the headers or extractors you're wasting time on EJ22, that is why no one bothers with it on EJ22..

was curious as i have to go get a new exhaust system anyway, but thought if there were better extractors or headers out there then id do it.

what kinda exhaust set up would be best to marry up then using the standard extractors?

Have a look on ebay. Last time I was there someone had multiple EJ22/EJ25 extractors for sale. Nice and shiny! A mate of mine put them on his impreza (EJ25), didn't make any difference to power but gave it 'rounder' growl. Sounded good (in my opinion).

haha nah we wanna keep it quiet as EJ22's in a L series and being a p plater and at uni, the less attention the better coz i cant really afford to have to take it over the pits...
