Time for new suspension an clutch

Post by spaceage » Wed Oct 12, 2005 8:22 pm

I've decided it's time for me to replace my suspension and clutch on my vortex, just wondering where in perth i should go and what sort i should get, it is a street car so i want either close to standard or lowered suspension, and as it's my first car i need a pretty stock clutch,

any suggestions???

For your clutch I would find a place that sells clutch components not just kits, you want the standard Vortex/L Series kit except the clutch plate from an exidy kit NSK-6317, it doesn't have to be an exidy kit, it's just the model number that I found for figuring out which clutch plate we need.

That exidy kit is from a 2L Nissan powered VL Commodore, the clutch kit is the same as the L series plate except about $200 cheaper.

As far as suspension the standard recommendation is KYB shocks and King springs.

Jordan.
