hey everyone just wondering if anyone can help me out
today i heard a grinding/whining noise when my wheels were at full-lock/close to.
i just had the timing belt replaced a couple of months ago.
what could be the problem?
everything else seems great. only hear it when going into/pulling out of parking spaces
any help greatly appreciated

That would be your power steering relief valve stopping your lines from splitting/pump exploding.

Its generally not a good idea to hold the steering wheel at full lock for more that a couple of seconds at a time

just go a turn or so back from lock, you'll hardly be making huge gains in turning circle by running full lock... it really isn't good for the system to hold it at lock, needless wear and tear...

check your power steering fluid level too.
