Make sure you adjust the clutch cable correctly after installing a new clutch.

Too tight and you slip the clutch and it will buuuurn.

I'd say it made noises for some time and if it's only been in there for 5,000kms then I'd say it was not installed correctly.. to me without seeing it first hand, I'd say the friction disc was put in upside down.

I agree as the pressure from the pressure plate would of caused it to break like that. Question is How would you get the standard bolts in the fly wheel to start.

Must of used longer bolts to pull in then swapped them out for the standard ones

I just received a stage 1 race clutch set yesterday for T'sunami Wagon. Check this international shippers site out, looks like they have just about everything for Subaru's.
Cheers, Mark

i got one for my wrx, wasnt from gripforce tho, is a lightened flywheel, 4 puck bronze plate, and heavy duty pressure plate. not long after install it slips in 3rd when the boost hits the 20psi mark. it is also unpredictable in the friction point and sometimes has 2 friction points?
it is coming out

Ouch! Warranty?I hope the seller takes care of you. I was looking at the ceramic clutches, higher horsepower rating etc, but Im putting a na ej 5 spd behind my ej20g , na limited my choices so im trying what they are calling a stage 1 racing set up with organic disc rated at 212 hp 198 ftlbs torque.

I get the Same thing in my GX and it's non turbo. It's just the stock clutch as well.. but the clutch is fine.
