I know some of the haynes manuals have the details in there about the gearbox layout, they don't go into much details due to the work needing to "be done by a qualified workshop" or some rubbish. From memory there is enough detail for you to use the images to get the gearbox back together.

Unfortunately I do not own one of these copys, my haynes has nothing about gearboxes in there that is remotely useful :(

There should be a pdf in the tech manual section of the forum with the details you're after ;)

Cheers

also are you looking just for exploded views, or verbal instructions too. Your 5 spd dual range, do you have diff lock too, is it full time 4wd, etc

T'sub that's be great, I'm just chasing exploded views, its just your basic run of the mill 5sp D/R part time 4WD no c/diff lock or anything My email is brumbyworld@hotmail.com

No rush just when you get to it...

The genuine subaru service manual does have images in it.

what is your reason and what part of the book do you require to look at?
If you wanted general information you could find an manual from Liberty's gearbox but its different to L series due different linkages and transfer case.

Digging up an old thread, is there any chance of getting a copy of this as well?

I'm considering converting a single range, diff-lock able, full time 4wd to dual range by using the parts out of a part time 4wd transmission.

I'll PM you my email address.

isn't there a section on here for manuals, etc (not sure how this works),
