this little pinkie went oh it hurts!

got home yesterday morning to find oil everywhere under the lib's ej22 and went to work to find the problem. after much degreasing and searching i found the problem. Buggered cam oil seal. so pulled it all apart no manual for guidance mind you and sourced two new seals from the local bearing man by the afternoon.

Put in the new seals and getting ready to put the timing belt etc. back on and just and was putting the tensioner back in place the left hand cam decided to move jamming and just about tearing the nail out on my left hands little finger, with a heap of cursing and swearing i dislodged my digit from the jaws of that aweful position and had blood spewing from the injury, grabbing the nearest rag i managed to bandage it up finish the job and take the car for a test run, before going and seeing the misses who's a nurse to take proper care of my saw pinkie.

Note too self don't do that again it hurts.

Anyway lib's running fine and the misses is happy just got let the pinkie heal and hope the nail stays.

shit i can feal that i squashed mine the other day to between a water trap and an inch breaker bar brock the glass in the trap and sent my nail fully black

Haven't properly hurt myself yet but one thing that always gets me is when I'm trying to loosen the spark plugs, it takes alot of force and then they suddenly let go. I usually end up bashing my arms/hands into various things around the engine bay doing that
