Hi I'm just curious if I'm better off turbo-ing my ea81 or getting a ej22 motor?
If turbo, can I turbo my carb ea81?

If you are going to all the trouble of putting a turbo in your brumby, get and EJ20 turbo motor, harness computer and the matching gearbox and diff.

and yes you can make your ea81 a turbo motor either with a computer and lots of money or a suck through system with low boost.

Or buy an EA81T and fit that.

IMO, I'd buy an EJ25 SOHC with Dual Range 5 speed and put them in more parts available if needed later on and more power.
