Time has come to fit the WRX radiator to the RX and I have a 10" Davies Craig but it doesnt have a mounting kit.
Im looking for ideas to mount it to the radiator as I dont like the 'bolt through the fins' and was looking more towards brackets from top to bottom to mount them on.
Pictures are worth a thousand words

Davies Craig make a thing that works like a zip tie but its a single reasonably thick strands gadget . They have round pads that clamp on the core to minimise any damage . http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DAVIES-CRAIG ... 0636445028
My experience is that 10" fans are not very effective and the best sized one to use is the one closest to the cores height .
The fella that started Pulse Racing/Pulse Turbocharging and wound up at Plazmaman tried two 10" fans many years ago on a Pulsar radiator in a Datsun 1600 with an FJ20 turbo engine , and they were pretty useless . The fan may be 10" diameter but what is the motors diameter compared to the blade lengths .

Well ideally I'd like to use the factory fan that bolts into the factory position, but I think I am limited in space. Does somebody know if at least one factory fan will fit on the passenger side?
