Think DR L box is 55kg, the E4AT from same is about 110 kg with TC and fluid - I know coz I weighed one up, bit by bit. Figure explains why Chris Rogers beast sat a little lower once fitted with same

I reckon he's pretty close - have you tried lifting an auto box ??
Back on topic - a manual box is around 50kg - if you are using e-go couriers (and if not why not ?) then just tell them it weighs 40kg and if you get away with it you save some money and if they weigh it and find it weighs more then they will just send you an invoice for the difference.

Yeah I will vouch that the AWD 4EAT is close to 100kg including torque converter, there is about 8L of oil so that doesnt make that much difference.

Soz, didn't realise we were talking auto boxes, yes much heavier than a manual, apparently it's the same box they put in auto Patrol's.
EDIT, Hang on, I just went back to the original post........Manual box, you were wrong so suck eggs.

Just had 2 seperate boxes from 2 different states and 1 was 50kg the other was 65kg.. both almost indentical. One went by cubic size the other by physical weight.
Who is bringing it over Tyrone? and how will it be packed?? Just asking because I'm just warning you now.. if you're thinking of using E-go, make sure it's wrapped and packed securely. One of my gearboxes got damaged (looks like it was dropped off the truck) and E-go are taking no responsibility for it
