99 Liberty drive shaft clunk

Post by Ton_79 » Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:50 am

Hi guys,

I'm trying to stop a drive-train clunk on my 99 liberty wagon with 250k.

Its occurs when accelerating, decelerating, letting out the clutch and disengaging cruise control.

I've done rear upper diff bushes and front control arm bushes.

The front CV joints have a bit of movement/play in em, as does the rear diff when turning the wheels in gear.

How much movement/play should my front CV joints, and diff have?

Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated.
