EA81 vacuum hoses - 1988 emissions

G'day all.

I'm at my wits end over these vacuum hoses on Sunnie the Brumby. He's got an EA81 and is a 1989 compliance date with a 1988 build date. I had one hose that I didn't know where it went and since putting the inlet manifold back on I don't know what went where with one or two hoses. I've got one that's dodgy in my book, here are the pics below, both hoses pictured are the same hose, I'm just not even 5% sure that I've got it right:

^ The dusty looking one that attaches to the bottom of the black circular thing on the side of the air box - passenger's side location.

Here's where the other end has been sent:

^ As above.

And while I type this I think one of the coloured T pieces of the larger hose size is blocked off with a tube and a bolt, I'm also not sure this is the way it should be.

If anyone can take some pics of their 1988/89 brumby's setup that would be great. It needs to have the stock carb too ;)

Cheers

i think you might have it in the right spot..

my larger green T goes to the carby and the vacume canister also is connected to that hose that is going straight down from the air cleaner, 2nd photo..

big green T has a factory nub?

the one you are questioning, I think is the one that plugs into the bottom of the air cleaner.

Thanks alang, which one did you use exactly?

Thanks Toonga, My coloured T pieces are green, black and blue... All are blocked off except the blue one I think - might be time for more photos - just hard to get at that angle with the engine in the car. The blue one I've Tee'd over to that valve thingy behind the passenger's strut from memory.

Keen to get this sorted as I think it could be causing issues with the engine running lean that then creates an over heating issue - this issue is also linked in with a suspected dodgy electrical connection at the radiator temp sensor that triggers the thermo fans into action.

I found this out while on the "maiden voyage" up to shepp after having the cooling system overhauled. Still looking into air flow issues with the new lights and the bullbar - but it didn't over heat until an hour into the trip then about 20 or 30 minutes later again. I was also towing a trailer in cool weather.

But that said, I need to get this sorted. Alang, keep your eyes peeled for an email ;) Thanks for the offer :D

Cheers

Still up for more info on this one! I've edited Toonga's pics to hopefully make it more clear as what it is that I need to clear up:
