Rear drive shaft rebuild

Post by JP147 » Tue Mar 01, 2016 7:14 pm

I remember this being discussed earlier but I can't find the thread.

Where to get new CV joints and boots for rear shafts? I have 3 rear shafts and none have good joints on them.

suzukisuper on ebay might be able to source them

your best bet is to find someone wrecking a newer brumby and get them that way.

The main problem seems to be that the joint on one end of the shafts is not sealed like the other, and it always seems to get water and dirt in it after a while. I would rather not have to constantly buy new shafts. Is it possible to put two sealed joints on the one shaft? And could front inner joints maybe be used on the rear?
