Early MY fuel pump

This unit as per the link looks to be the same as my original fuel pump.
My original pump died a few years ago and I sourced one from NZ which was similar to the original but is pretty noisy.
Wouldn't mind fitting an OEM pump to get back to standard.
This unit is being listed as suiting a 1600 engine.
I have asked the seller for OEM part numbers and anything to say it will suit an EA81 but they have replied they have no info but if could fit.

Anyone have any info on if this is suitable for an EA81 ?

As long as it delivers the fuel at the same pressure it will work.
It does look just like the early EA81 fuel pump.

Trouble is, I cant get any info from the supplier to confirm much.
Looks like some numbering info on the photo from the seller.
Might mean something. Will check with my original pump if I can find it.

I have another option.
Years ago I pulled a fuel pump out of a later model Brumby (mounts in the rear up near the tank), pump, wiring to the immediate connector (plus a bit including both parts of the connector) and the pump mounting plate that connects it onto the car body.
Trouble is, I cant recall exactly where it mounts under the rear at the rear of the car.
Anyone able to take some photos of where the pump mounts ?
Dont know if the early and later MY's/Brumby's have the same chassis design or not but I can have a look at this option anyway.

Behind the passenger's side. There should be some captive nuts in there for the fuel pump to mount to, the fuel filter had a little clip bracket to hold it in place.
Sorry, no pics atm.

The pump, filter all mounting on the plate looks different to your photo.
I will have to get under the car at some stage and have a look.
Thanks for the info guys
