EA82 Carb Rebuild

Post by maddog » Fri Nov 17, 2006 4:01 pm

Hi all - I'm in the process of rebuilding a carb for my EA82. In the 'FuelMiser' rebuild kit there is a different type of plunger. It has a leather cap instead of the nylon one that is in the original carb (DCZ328-562) also has plastic shaft instead of original brass shaft. Is this an update on the original? I would have thought that leather would wear quicker than nylon?
Anyone got any clues? Hmmmmmmm....
